bACK GROUND
The Beatrice Nabutilu Educational Fund was created by the children of the late Beatrice Nabutilu to honor their mother's contributions to the betterment of lives through education and mentorship.
Our mother was an accomplished educator, community member, civil servant and mentor to thousands of Kenyans in her nearly 50 years of teaching at college and high school levels. She stressed the value of education, making sure all her 9 children were educated through an undergraduate degree. We would like to continue her spirit by funding the education of gifted children attending the schools where our mother studied when she was preparing for her career.
